Job Description:
Healthcare Assistant – St Austell
We are currently looking for experienced Healthcare Assistants to join a friendly and supportive team at a beautiful care home in St Austell.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys making a difference and is looking for flexible, ongoing work within a welcoming care home.
Shift Times:
- 8:00am – 2:00pm
- 1:45pm – 8:00pm
- 8:00am – 8:00pm
- Nights: 7:45pm – 8:00am (available when required)
Shifts vary each week, offering flexibility to suit your availability.
The Role:
- Providing personal care and support to residents
- Assisting with daily living activities
- Supporting residents with meals and hydration
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Working closely with the wider care team to provide high-quality care
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant in a care home or similar setting
- Adult Workforce DBS
- Safeguarding Adults training
- Manual Handling training
- A caring, reliable and professional approach
Pay Rates:
Day Shifts
- £12.80 per hour – Weekdays
- £14.25 per hour – Saturdays
- £14.75 per hour – Sundays
Night Shifts
- £13.75 per hour – Weekdays
- £16.00 per hour – Weekend nights
Twilight Shifts
- £13.25 per hour – Weekdays
- £15.00 per hour – Weekends
