Job Description:
Temporary School Cleaner
- Locations:St. Agnes & Newquay Cornwall
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, between 3pm – 6pm (Paid 4 hours)
- Contract Type: Temporary ongoing
- Pay: 4 hours min shift per day
- £13.25 per hour.
You MUST have an in-date enhanced DBS on the child's barred list.
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented School Cleaner to support our cleaning team for an ongoing basis. This role is critical in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors.
- Cleaning of all classrooms, public and staff areas
- Toilets, kitchen, canteen, and office areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and other school areas
- Emptying bins, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
- Following health and safety guidelines and school procedures
- Reporting any issues or required maintenance
Candidate Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS check with child workforce clearance is essential.
- Previous professional cleaning experience is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
