Job Description:

Our client, an established Bindery firm based near Padstow, is seeking a Lead Production Scheduler to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a full-time, permanent role with excellent progression prospects — from Scheduler to Production Manager level.

• Full-time, 40 hours per week (flexibility required depending on business needs)

The role:

• Plan, coordinate and monitor production schedules to ensure efficiency and timely delivery.

• Work closely with production teams, supply chain, and management to balance capacity and demand.

• Use scheduling systems, spreadsheets and data tools (including Excel) to manage workflow and performance.

• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, delays, and resource challenges.

• Maintain accurate production records and reports.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote best practices in scheduling and operations.

Requirements:

• Strong warehouse or production background, ideally within a printing or manufacturing environment.

• Experience with machine operation and production systems.

• Proficient in Excel and other data management tools.

• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.

• Able to stay calm under pressure and make informed decisions when priorities compete.

• Flexible, motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
