New Business Sales Agent
Location: Hybrid – Liskeard and home-based
Salary: £13.25 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Temporary to permanent
We are looking for an experienced Telephone Sales Agent to join a growing team, handling inbound enquiries and outbound sales calls to promote broadband services across Cornwall and Devon.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound enquiries and make outbound sales calls.
- Manage warm and cold leads, converting opportunities into sales.
- Build rapport with customers and confidently explain broadband products.
- Handle objections and work towards sales targets.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update CRM systems.
About You
- Previous telephone sales experience, ideally within telecommunications.
- Confident communicator with strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Target-driven, organised and commercially aware.
- Comfortable using digital systems and CRM software.
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload.
Working Arrangements
- Three days per week in the Liskeard office (Tuesday–Thursday) – essential.
- Remaining working days from home.
- Rotational shifts between 9am and 7pm.
- Later shifts can be worked from home.
- A suitable home-working environment is essential.
- Full-time only; part-time applications cannot be considered.
Salary and Contract
- £26,227 per annum after first 3 months
- Initial three-month temporary contract, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
- Start date to be confirmed.
