Occupational Therapist (Community-Based)
Pay Rate:
£21.57 per hour (paid weekly every Friday via PAYE)

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 08:45 – 17:15
Position:
1 x Full-Time Role (Part-time may be considered in some cases)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Community Occupational Therapist to join a busy and supportive service. This is a varied role providing specialist assessment and intervention across a wide geographical area, supporting individuals to live safely and independently.
Hybrid working is supported, with a balance of remote and community-based work.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out comprehensive community-based occupational therapy assessments
- Provide specialist advice on moving and handling
- Assess and recommend seating solutions and specialist equipment
- Identify and support provision of minor and major adaptations
- Work collaboratively with individuals, families, and partner agencies
- Manage a varied caseload across community settings
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experienced Community Occupational Therapist
- Strong clinical knowledge of moving and handling
- Experience with seating assessments and specialist equipment
- Knowledge of minor and major adaptations processes
- Ability to work independently and manage a complex caseload
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
Special Requirements
- Ability to work across a large geographical area in North and East Cornwall
- Full UK driving licence and access to own transport required
- Flexible and able to work autonomously
