Nursery Manager

Responsibilities will include:

- The financial implications of the branch
- Dealing with the salaries etc, generating information for HO to carry out the payroll
- The occupancy of the nursery, ensuring it increases with consistency.
- Leading and motivating their team, ensuring they are carrying their roles to the standards required by the company and also ensuring they are happy in their roles, assisting with their development etc.
- Developing good long term relationships with parents and colleagues.

Essential Skills for this role:
- NVQ 3 or equivalent in Childcare with relevant and practice experience to go with.
- Experience of EYPS, confident in implementing into nurseries.
- Sound knowledge of childcare, including child protection as well as national standards within Nurseries and the ability to uphold them.
- Excellent communication skills along with the ability to manage a team and organise staff and children.
- Sound IT skill and equally good literacy and accounting skills
- Ability to drive and motivate
- Passion and drive
