We are recruiting an experienced hospitality management team of two to take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of an established 11-bedroom boutique hotel in a beautiful coastal location in Cornwall.
This is an exciting long-term opportunity for two experienced hospitality professionals looking to work and live together while taking on a hands-on management role within a well-established independent property.
The Package
- £25,000 salary per person
- £50,000 combined salary for the management team

The position is offered to a management team of two. Each successful candidate will receive a salary of £25,000, with private two-bedroom accommodation provided as part of the employment package.
The Role
Working alongside a small, established team, the successful management duo will oversee the day-to-day running of the hotel, ensuring excellent guest service and high operational standards across the property.
Responsibilities will include:
- Guest hosting, reception and reservations
- Breakfast and light bar food service
- Bar operation and service
- Housekeeping supervision
- Staff rotas and team management
- Stock control and supplier management
- Basic financial administration
- Maintaining presentation and service standards throughout the hotel
- Handling guest enquiries and resolving issues professionally
- Ensuring an excellent overall guest experience
This is a hands-on management position. We are looking for a team who are happy to lead from the front, work closely with the existing staff and get involved across all areas of the operation when required.
Responsibilities can be divided between the two individuals according to their experience, strengths and interests.
Working Hours
Typical hours are 6.30am–12pm and 3pm–10pm, with regular days and evenings off as part of the agreed rota.
The exact working pattern will be agreed between the successful candidates and the hotel.
About You
We are looking for two experienced, professional and hands-on hospitality managers who work well together and are comfortable taking joint responsibility for the operation of a small boutique hotel.
Previous management experience within a hotel, guest house, boutique hotel, luxury chalet or similar hospitality environment is essential.
You should be confident managing a small team, maintaining high standards and delivering exceptional guest service, while also being happy to get involved practically wherever needed.
Essential Requirements
- Previous hospitality management experience
- Experience within a hotel or similar guest-focused environment
- Valid UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Strong guest service and communication skills
- Experience managing and supporting a small team
- Excellent organisational and practical skills
- Comfortable working hands-on across different areas of hotel operations
- Ability to work effectively as part of a two-person management team
- A professional and flexible approach to hospitality
