Breakfast Chef - Falmouth
We are looking for a Breakfast Chef to join an award-winning, small luxury hotel and restaurant in Falmouth.
Location: Falmouth
Role: Breakfast Chef
Hours: 5 days per week
? Shift: 5:30am - 1:30pm with potential to work evenings as well
Pay: £14-16 per hour dependant on experience
Parking: Available on site + excellent benefits a retention bonuses
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded hotel, working as part of a professional kitchen team delivering exceptional breakfast service in a luxury hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking a high-quality breakfast service, including cooked-to-order and buffet items.
- Ensuring all dishes are presented to the highest standards.
- Organising and setting up the kitchen ready for service.
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and food safety standards.
- Managing stock levels, stock rotation, and minimising food waste.
- Preparing ingredients and completing daily mise en place.
- Working efficiently during busy service periods.
- Supporting the wider kitchen team with preparation for later services when required.
- Ensuring all equipment is used safely and kept clean.
- Following all health & safety and HACCP procedures.
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef, Chef de Partie, or Commis Chef in a quality hotel or restaurant.
- Able to work independently and manage a busy morning service.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Passionate about fresh food and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to start work at 5:30am.
- Food Hygiene certification is desirable.
