We are recruiting on behalf of a high-quality, award-winning hotel and resort set in a stunning riverside location near Falmouth, Cornwall.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Lounge Bar Manager or a strong Assistant Manager ready to step up to join a professional, guest-focused hospitality environment.
The RoleYou will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the lounge, bar, conservatory, and terrace areas, ensuring exceptional guest service and smooth operations at all times.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong hospitality standards, team management skills, and a passion for delivering excellent guest experiences.

- Lead, supervise, and support the bar team
- Ensure consistently high levels of guest service
- Manage stock control, ordering, and cellar operations
- Maintain health & safety, hygiene, and licensing compliance
- Handle guest feedback professionally
- Support recruitment, training, and team development
- Ensure accurate billing and cash handling procedures
- Work closely with senior management to maintain standards
- Experience as a Bar Manager, Assistant Manager, or strong supervisor in hospitality
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Passion for guest service and hospitality standards
- Good knowledge of bar operations, drinks, and service delivery
- Calm under pressure and highly organised
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and peak periods
- Motivated to develop within a quality hospitality environment
