Staff Accommodation Cleaning Operative
Location: 6 miles from Newquay (On-site)
Job Type: Part-time, Permanent
Hours: 8 hours per week
Schedule: Any two non-consecutive days per week, 4 hours per day
Pay: £12.71 per hour
We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Staff Accommodation Cleaning Operative to help maintain our team accommodation to a consistently high standard. This role is about creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for staff living on-site.
You will take responsibility for cleaning and maintaining shared living spaces, ensuring all areas are safe, hygienic, and well-presented.
Key Responsibilities- Clean shared kitchens, bathrooms, toilets, and shower facilities
- Maintain corridors, stairways, and communal areas
- Support with bedroom changeover cleaning when required
- Empty bins and manage waste and recycling
- Monitor and report cleaning supply needs
- Report maintenance issues promptly
- Follow cleaning schedules and standards
- Ensure all areas remain clean, safe, and welcoming
- Cleaning or housekeeping experience desirable but not essential
- Full training provided
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organisation and time management skills
- Positive and professional attitude
- Basic understanding of health and safety
- £12.71 per hour
- Permanent part-time contract
- 28 days holiday (increasing after 1 year)
