Job Description:
Our client a British manufacturer of agricultural machinery is seeking a full time fettler to join their established team on a permanent basis.
What we offer:
- Monday - Thursday
- 06.30 - 16.45
- Permanent position
- £13.45 per hour
The role:
- Fettling, sanding, and de-burring metal components to engineering drawings.
- Operating hand, air, and power tools to remove sharp edges and finish parts.
- Part marking, reworking parts, and supporting quality control checks.
- Collection/movement of parts from different locations within the factory.
- Meet the expected standards of accuracy, efficiency and quality as set by the Company.
- Inspect completed work for defects and make necessary repairs as required.
- Maintain tools and equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Operation of all associated machinery and tools to move components.
Requirements:
- Experience of using a variety of Hand Tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
