Job Description:
Our client an award-winning, family-run drink production business in Truro, are seeking an experienced factory manager on a permanent basis.
Immediate start pending a successful interview.
What we offer:
- Up to £65,000 per annum
- Permanent role.
- 40H per week.
The role and responsibilities:
- Deliver the production and packaging plan consistently, safely and efficiently.
- Maximise packaging line availability and performance across bottling, canning and kegging.
- Improve engineering reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Maintain excellent food safety, quality and hygiene standards.
- Reduce manufacturing and packaging waste and product giveaway.
- Control factory operating costs while maintaining service and quality.
- Improve labour and asset productivity.
- Build a high-performing, accountable and engaged operational team.
- Deliver a structured programme of continuous improvement and capital projects.
- Maintain full compliance with health & safety, food safety, environmental and statutory requirements.
Relevant experience:
- Strong operational leadership.
- Production, engineering, quality, safety, cost and continuous improvement.
- Quality standards for the site and products.
- Compliance with UK food manufacturing, health & safety and environmental requirements.
Qualifications:
- Professional trade qualification in relevant field.
- Educated to degree level in appropriate discipline.
- Health & Safety.
