Description
As a trusted manager of this growing company, you will be the front of the Nursery, setting and meeting standards for the rest of the team.
Duties will include:
-Supervising, monitoring and motivating your team, ensuring your staff are up to standard, carrying our appraisals and review meetings, organising monthly staff meetings and taking an interest in your team’s development and welfare.
-You will be ensuring the weekly planning is produced, organising activities, visits and the monitoring of the children’s welfare and social development.
-Offering guidance and support and excellent levels of customer service to all clients, ensuring all payments are taking correctively and sufficient time is allocated to each parent, especially when they are concerned or worries about their child.
Essential Skills for this role:
-NVQ 3 or equivalent in Childcare with relevant and practice experience to go with.
-Sound knowledge of childcare, including child protection as well as national standards within Nurseries and the ability to uphold them.
-Excellent communication skills along with the ability to manage a team and organise staff and children.
-Sound IT skill and equally good literacy and accounting skills
-Ability to drive and motivate
