Technical Sales Advisor

Description

My client is a national established successful company who supply systems to plumbers, builders, developers and self-builders throughout Europe.

The main responsibility of this role is providing full support, consultative services and project advice to customers regarding suitability, design, application and maintaining a good relationship with customers in order to meet and exceed individual sales targets.
You will ultimately be project managing the sale at all stages, from the initial quote through to the successful installation and post-sales process.

Duties will include:
- Providing a level of service which exceeds their customers’ expectations.
- Ensuring the customers requirements are matched accurately to the most suitable products and services that the company has to offer.
- Completing accurate and realistic monthly sales plans.
- Meeting and exceeding targets and ensuring prospect customers are converted.

Personal qualities / experience required for this role:
- Minimum two years in a sales environment.
- A proven track record in sales as well as the ability to work in a highly targeted environment and work well under pressure.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills as well as exceptional inter-personal skills.
- Good IT skills, including spreadsheets, email, word processing and databases.
- The ability to work on own initiative as well as being an effective team player.
- Flexible and committed approach to work.
- Able to demonstrate high levels of Excellence, Passion, Inspiration, Responsibility, Desire and Honesty.

Any of the following would be desirable:
- ISSM Qualification or equivalent.
- Experience of selling a technical product.

In return for the above qualities a great package awaits as well as continual on going training, support and coaching.
